Public Notice – December 17, 2021
Labrador-Grenfell Health is advising the public that beginning December 20, 2021, there will be a temporary disruption to services at the St. Lewis and Mary’s Harbour Community Clinics.
The disruptions will be as follows:
St. Lewis Community Clinic
- From December 20, 2021, to January 4, 2022, there will be no Registered Nurse on-site at the clinic.
- Residents may book appointments for virtual care by calling (709) 939-2230
- Appointments will not be available on statutory holidays (December 27, December 28, January 3).
Mary’s Harbour Community Clinic
- From December 20, 2021, to January 4, 2022, there will be no Registered Nurse on-site at the clinic.
- The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at the clinic will continue to see patients.
- Residents may book appointments for virtual care by calling (709) 921-6228.
- Appointments will not be available on statutory holidays (December 27, December 28, January 3).
Residents of the St. Lewis and Mary’s Harbour communities can speak with a Registered Nurse for urgent care during statutory holidays and after hours by calling (709) 960-0777.
Residents can also call 8-1-1 to seek health advice from a nurse 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
In the event of a medical emergency, residents can call 9-1-1 for immediate assistance.
