Pubic Notice – September 17, 2020
September 17, 2020 is the second annual World Health Organization (WHO) World Patient Safety Day. To honour and celebrate the commitment of health workers during the global pandemic, WHO has themed this year- Health Worker Safety: A Priority for Patient Safety.
Labrador-Grenfell Health recognizes the tremendous work our staff has done during this pandemic and understands that patient safety improves when health workers are safe and work in a safe environment.
In recognition of this event, Labrador-Grenfell Health will be illuminating our three hospitals with orange lights on September 17-18.
We encourage the public to take time to reflect on the significance of World Patient Safety Day and Health Worker safety.
