The Grenfell Foundation is a registered charitable organization created to support the work of Labrador-Grenfell Health. Funds raised are used for capital equipment, research, and staff development relating to the services provided by Labrador-Grenfell Health.
The Grenfell Foundation was established in 2002 to receive funds to be utilized towards the purchase of priority diagnostic medical equipment. The Grenfell Foundation serves the Labrador-Grenfell Health region and includes three chapters:
- South Chapter: serving the Northern Peninsula (north of Bartlett’s Harbour) and Labrador South

- Donate: https://grenfellfoundation.ca/donate/
- Labrador East Chapter: serving Lake Melville, the North Coast and Black Tickle, north to Nain, and
- Labrador West Chapter, serving the Labrador West – Churchill Falls area.
Through the Grenfell Foundation, individuals, businesses, service clubs, and community organizations can help improve health care services in the region.
Our Volunteers
Currently, there are five auxiliary groups and numerous individuals throughout the Labrador-Grenfell Health region who continue to contribute to the Grenfell Foundation’s fundraising efforts.
Each year, during National Volunteer Week, Labrador-Grenfell Health and the Grenfell Foundation recognize volunteers through Volunteer Dinners, held in their honor, in various locations throughout the region. To express our further recognition of these individuals, we share these photographs of volunteers who dedicate their time and knowledge to our cause.
