Lynn lives in Roddickton-Bide Arm, a place where she has lived, married, raised her family, and has no plans to leave. Lynn is a substitute teacher with the Newfoundland and Labrador English School District and has long been involved in community affairs. She strives to make Roddickton-Bide Arm a happy and viable place for all who choose to call it home and says her goal was ensure her children had a great childhood.

Her community associations over the years include Girl Guides, Sunday School, school council, Family Resource Centre, recreation committee and Come Home Year committees. Lynn is also a member of the municipal council. Her family owns the local seniors’ home in Roddickton-Bide Arm, Roddickton House, and she helps out when needed as it gives her an opportunity to hear the concerns and needs of seniors in our area.

Lynn believes her niche on the board is in the area of seniors and youth and considers it a great honour to be appointed to the Labrador-Grenfell Health Board of Trustees.
