In the spirit of Dr. Wilfred Grenfell and the thousands of people who have supported the Grenfell organization over the years, the Grenfell Foundation launched a fund-raising campaign in March, 2013, to raise funds to purchase an Ophthalmic Surgical Microscope for the Charles S. Curtis Memorial Hospital. This is a vital piece of equipment which will benefit the people of Northern Newfoundland and Southern Labrador.
The cost of this particular piece of equipment is $150,000.
